Some different quick sketches of early Yoshi. Eyes are extremely expressive and a simple line shift can change an entire attitude. It's fun to draw the same face with changes in just the eyes.
Work has begun on another comic (not Armstrong) where my goal is to draw the character's face 200 - 300 times. Quick 5-10 second sketches to get familiar with how they look and to be as expressive as possible in as little detail as possible.
